What Willow Trees Are

 

 

 

Long ago, the land of Earth was barren with rock faces and very little or no vegetation. Until this time, nothing moved. This all changed when the gods came to this land.

 

 

 

Our god was not our first god. In fact, he's our thrid god. Our first two gods were known as Terran and Aquain. These two gods were very selfish and wanted the world to be their own world. Because of this each god owned half of the world, the Western half for Aquan, the Eastern half for Terran. Terran made large forests, giant deserts, lushious plains, and beautiful mountains. Aquain made his half of the world one giant ocean, which we know as the Pacific Ocean. On the border of the two halfs, there is a giant beach the spans the length of the border.

 

 

 

Earth was a very peaceful place, until the day Aquain plotted against Terran. He trained many Water Warriors which were big forms of water with ice swords and shields. Terran on the other side of the world as plotting the exact same attack with Earth Warriors. The Earth Warriors were big shapes of mud or living matter with wood bark as shields and long branches as swords. Both forces were evenly matched as their two leaders sent them off to the beaches of the border.

 

 

 

Days later, Terran's forces reached the border while Aquain's were still many hours away. The group known as The Willows due the their leader, Willow, were camping where Aquains forces would attack. Willow had green hair that looked like small vines, and was mostly wood. His warriors in his group dressed the same as to honour Willow.

 

 

 

During the night, Aquains forces attacked and The Willows were defenseless against the strong force they faced. Willow and the rest of his group dressed in their tree bark armor, the wooden shield and sword which were better than the other tree bark armor that the rest of Terran's forces used. Willow killed many of the Water Warriors

 

 

 

Willow's forces managed to hold back the Water Warriors until his comrades arrived. But when the reinforcements arrived, the battle started to turn against Willow. He was being constanly attacked and his armor started to weaken. It weakened so much it started to bend into strange shapes every time he moved. Finally, Willow passed on after being barraged many times. He died standing up, wih his armor keeping him standing because it dug into the ground.

 

 

 

The Willows were very sad about Willow, and started to battle harder than they ever did. The battle started to turn in favor of Terran. The Willows were fighting so hard that when they went deep into Aquain's ocean Aquain himself could not stop them. The war ended when Aquain was slain and The Willows returned to Terran.

 

 

 

Many years later, Terran grew old and another, new god, came to our land. God, they called him, and he wanted to keep the peace for as long as possible. He changed the world to have both water and land on both sides. He named the tree that Willow now was a willow tree to honour him. And certainly not least, he made life on the planet Earth. That life has lived peacefully for millions and millions of years.

in all seriousness, messing with God, then showing it to people, is not something that is... good for the soul. You'll regret it someday.

 

 

 

Even if it is fiction

Well what was I suposed to do? We had an assignment to make a myth. Most myths have a god in them, and I could not think of anything else to write about. As long as it gets me an A :)

 

 

 

Technically, I'm not messing with God, only messing with God's background. And anyways, God's role in this myth is peace bringer. That role is better than what some would write about.

How can you tell this (^) is a lie?

Just to let you know, God is in the Outside (or so I believe). Read Xenocide by Orson Scott Card to get what I mean. There is no space or time or where in the Outside universe; it is like a sphere that is infinitely moving outward, so you are never going to reach the center. Just my views on God (if there is any) and how he could so easily create things, like Jane is able to do. Read the book to find out more (I'm not advertising!).

Anyway it was a myth and a half. What I mean is that it was just really unrealistic but still possible at the same time(if you think about it from a 1000Bc view point)

 

So it was very good.

What was the Aquain about? Terran and Aqua would have been more accurate...but we are not the ones who reason why...

We are completely different from our computers they do not, and cannot control us. That is how I think God views time and space, heavily... uh... put into understandable English which the layman of all kinds may understand.

 

 

 

This is only opinion in this case, the theology is this: God created time and space, and He controls it. He is not ruled or changed by it.
