September 25, 200718 yr I started programming using delphi 6 (yes, i know its old but its just a start). My programs are console applications, and they have this very boring icon: How can i change it? (i have already made the icon in gimp) i selected properties of the program but it doesnt say anything about icons. help, anyone? Click my main sig to see my fakes :D Proud to be Mexican, yay!
September 26, 200718 yr I have a program from a company called Stardock. If you are unsure to click this link - http://www.stardock.com/products/iconpackager/ You can click this topic - http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=288112 and read ShadowFaxPZ' post about how to customize Windows. He has a link there to WinCustomize, which is owned by Stardock. Well, anyways: Right click - properties - icon - change icon. That easy with this program. I guess there's other ways also, but i use this. (if you'd be unsure about this, since my kinda low postage number, just ask some mod) J'adore aussi le sexe et les snuff moviesJe trouve que ce sont des purs moments de vieJe ne me reconnais plus dans les gensJe suis juste un cas désespérantEt comme personne ne viendra me réclamerJe terminerai comme un objet retrouvé
September 26, 200718 yr Heres how you should do it if you have Windows XP. 1)Right click on the icon and select properties. You will see this screen. 2)Select the "customize" tab and it will look similar to the following. Click "Change Icon" 3) Click Browse at the top of the screen and find your picture/icon. (You may need to select "All files" in the drop-down menu at the bottom of the screen. 4) Voila! Beautiful. (Note. I am not a computer wiz, therefore this may only work with folders. Also, it doesn't seem to work with shortcuts.) Again, I apologize in advance if this information is incorrect. Signed, Cowman_133 RuneScape player since 2004
September 26, 200718 yr A simpler way would be to make a shortcut of the program and then the icon selection option will be there for the shortcut. [Assist-X]
