September 30, 200718 yr Welcome to my Guide of Ranging the KBD My Name is Mageonthat and this is myguide to ranging the KBD. I've used this method for probably 50+ kills now both soloing and in team. Ive got myself a KBD head but no visage yet, my best m8 Globe405 got one 2 kills after i left when he was soloing :cry: Recomended levels 75+ range 70+def (lower would be ok i guess) Gear. ------------------------------------Archer Helm Legends/Obby/Accumulator----Glory or Fury----50 Ruby bolts (e) Rune Cross Bow----------------Blk d hide Body--- Drag Fire Shield ----------------------------------Blk d hide Chaps Blk Vambs/B Gloves-----------Snakeskin Boots---Ring of Wealth Inven. 100 Diamond Bolts(e) Range Pot (4) Super Def Pot (4) Anti Poison (4) Anti Fire (4) Pry pot or Super Restore (4) Sharks One Click Tele (I use elf crystal, recharge pry in llyeta then glory edge) Method Soloing Walk to outside KBD Area Drink 1 dose Range, Both Antis and Super def. Go Down Ladder and Pull Lever. Just use 10% Range Pry. Use ruby Bolts until KBD is 2/3 HP( if the bolts special hit it will do damage equivelant of 20% of his HP at that moment, At full HP it hits 48) Swap to Diamond Bolts and finish off KBD. Generally youll get 2-3 kills a trip, not bad for solo. Tele Out and Repeat :D Team Killing in a team still means the same gear but, more pry pots and anti fire pots are recommended depending on the size of the team. Obviously the bigger the team the more kills per trip the more pots u need. Drops (From Tip.It bestiary) Gold: 3000 100%: Dragon bones, Black dragonhide Weapon: Adamant axe, Adamant javelin(20), Rune javelin(5), Dragon spear, Mithril battleaxe, Rune 2h sword, Rune axe, Rune battleaxe, Rune longsword, Rune spear Armour: Adamant platebody, Dragon med helm, Rune kiteshield, Rune platelegs, Rune platebody, Rune sq shield, Runes/Arrows: Air(105), Blood(15), Death(7-45), Fire(105), Iron(690), Law(15-45), Rune(42), Steel(150), Rune bolt(2-12) Misc: Adamant bar, Amulet of strength, Chaos talisman, Nature talisman, Coal(100 noted), Dragonstone, Half key, Iron ore(100 noted), Oyster pearls, Runite bar, Runite limb, Shark(4), Shield left half(dragon), Silver ore(100 noted), Uncut gems, Yew log(100 noted), King black dragon head, Draconic visage Sorry about the drawn in bolts i was out and Have fun. October 1, 200718 yr I suggest a equiptment pic with bonuses, alternatives to armour, and invent pic. Its just easier to see then read. Myabe a few random kill pics too. Anyways, nice guide, but I would suggest making it a bit more in-depth and talking about the KDB attaks, a map maybe to its lair, its max hits, stuff like that. Also, Karils is an even better alternative(its only 1m, and considering fury is around 3.8-4m...) Skillcape is also the best next to accumalator. 7/10 pretty good. clear, and to the point. October 2, 200718 yr I mean one thats not self made. Also, since it is, and might look unclear(Its kinda hard to tell that those were dimonds from just looking) LABEL them. October 22, 200718 yr pretty nice guide, 8/10 :thumbsup: , it helped me a lot just add some maps and ways to get there, a pic of the loot after the trip end, and some random stuff like KBD hits. EDIT: i just realised that i said exactly what pantium said :-w , next time ill read all the posts :oops: After taking a break of 17 months, i had to come back but everything has changed way too much xD
