mario_sunny
Yes, the master farmers, stalls, and monster drops are all great for seeds, but I really find them all either very boring or slow. Yes, I am aware there are some really good seed-dropping monsters, but there are very few of them. This is why I am suggesting a minigame simliar to the Sorceress' garden. In SG, you can get lots of high level herbs very fast, as long as you have a high-medium theiving level. This new minigame could be similar to the SG, but perhaps it could involve the agility skill. We haven't seen and agility minigame in a while, so how about one now? There could be a huge maze-like area with four stories. Each story, like the SG will require a certain agility level to access. The first one could require 1, the second 20, the third 45, and the fourth 70. On each level(or story) you would enter in a side and try to get to the middle where a huge bag of seeds lay. The mazes would be entirely agility based, with such things like log-crossings, rope swings, sharp blades, long jumps, handholds, ect. Once one reached the center he could either loot the bag in the middle or take a portal next to the bag. If the player chose to loot the bag, he would recieve an assortment of different seeds. The amount and type of seeds you recieve would be based upon which level you looted them from. If you chose to loot the bag then a trap would activate, with no damage toward you, and teleport you to the beginning of the maze all the way down to the first level. Each loot could get you anything from 10 seeds to 100 seeds. OR you could advance to the next level by taking the portal. If you have the agility level, you could then do the next maze on the next level. The fourth and final level could include seeds such as poison ivy, yew/magic seeds(rare? maybe we want to keep them with trees?), and other rare seeds. Now the chance of getting these high level seeds is fairly low, you could recieve a handful of rotten tomato seeds, but the high level seeds would only be looted from the fourth level. Of course, the third level would give a slightly lower change of getting good seeds, the second following, and finally the first. Below are four lists I made of the average loot you would recieve on each level. The average is detirmed by taking records of several trips, adding them together and dividing by the number of trips. Remember just because the magic tree seed, for example, isn't listed doesn't mean you can't recieve it. It's only the chance that increases per level, the rewards are entirely random though. By the way, magic seeds would be quite rare. First level Approximate time to do level: 2 minutes Average seed loot: *6 tomato *3 potato *1 tarromin *2 marrentill *2 nasturtium *4 rosemary *5 marigold *8 barley *4 hammerstone *2 jute *1 apple *5 redberry *3 cadava berry *2 dwell berry Second level Approximate time to do level: 5 minutes Average seed loot: *10 tomato *5 potato *1 harralander *3 tarromin *4 nasturtium *6 rosemary *7 marigold *11 barley *3 hammerstone *4 jute *1 yanillian *1 orange *1 apple *5 redberry *3 cadava berry *2 dwell berry *1 cactus Third level Approximate time to do level: 9 minutes Average seed loot: *7 sweetcorn *2 strawberry *3 harralander *1 rannar *3 tarromin *1 irit *4 woad *1 limpwurt *5 marigold *1 wildblood *3 krandorian *4 yanillian *1 willow *3 acorn *1 orange *3 cactus Fourth level Approximate time to do level: 15 minutes Average seed loot: *4 watermellon *4 wildblood *6 krandorian *4 rannar *2 avantoe *1 dwarf weed *1 torstol *6 limpwurt *7 strawberry *13 sweetcorn *1 yew *5 acorn *1 palm *4 apple *1 curry *1 poison ivy *2 jangerberry *7 dwellberry Getting all the way to the fourth level would take approximately 15 minutes. The maze size increasing with every new level. The time you get to the levels though will obviously depend on your agility level. Doing the fourth level 2 times, making an hour, can get you this many seeds(average remember, this is exactly like the barrows, it's random!): *16 watermellon *16 wildblood *24 krandorian *16 rannar *8 avantoe *4 dwarf weed *4 torstol *24 limpwurt *28 strawberry *52 sweetcorn *4 yew *20 acorn *4 palm *16 apple *4 curry *4 poison ivy *8 jangerberry *28 dwellberry Also- when you fail you fall into the dark pit below and are instantly teleported back in front of the obstical you failed, taking a certain amount of damage(with the easy way to get back, I'm thinking 5-10 damage everytime, random). Taking damage will balance things out in this minigame, as the seed rewards will be considerably better than master farmers. As for the location- I'm thinking something like an off-map area, like the SG. I don't see any room to squeeze in this monsterous maze on the map. Perhaps the master farmers in dranor could teleport you there? Perhaps the witch in dranor village, since she is a magic user? By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Sorry, the sig links to nowhere :( . calum12
The best way to get seeds i think for little or no effort is Miscellania. You can easily make up your losses by puitting 10 on flax and 5 on seeds, and you get 238 seeds and a tree seed in one day. In fact you can recover your losses for one day by putting 3 on flax, 9 on seeds and 3 on maples, getting you 375 flax which is the 75k you lost from paying, as well as 429 seeds, 2 tree seeds, 1 nest and 178 maples. Mind though, this is ONE DAY. Hmmm.... I need a new siggy, get round to doing it later. Probably.
mrmyk
I think the rewards there are way too much. On the fourth level in particular, 15 minutes for 4 ranarr and 1 yew + a heap of other items. Per hour judging you could speed round it that's roughly 600-700k+ per hour in rewards which could be a little too much (my mistake if not reading too much about if it is once per day or something) but really, those rewards are sky high :P. If that is on average, i don't want to know what is the reward when ya get lucky. :-# Proud Retired Council of The GladiatiorzClick here for our website - 110+ F2P Combat Requirements
