I am on a small hunting session (61 to 66) at the red Salamanders.

 

I never tried using them before as weapon,melee/range/mage.

 

The question is,to keep or not to keep them?

 

Do they worth the hard work (preparing their bait) as training weapon considering the alternatives, or should i drop them all?

Collecting Tar can be a real pain in the behind.

Worth it for XP not for keeping. Once you can catch red chins though you should go for them.
