Well I was inspired by Rpg's latest post to make this:

 

V2: Fixed the iris

Basically what I did was take the original (by me) paint over it in solid colors with brushes, and then use a combination of the Blur and Smudge tool. The iris area of the eye, I did the above steps, but also extracted that area of the eye from the original, and blended it. So far it's taken about an hour and a half. Still needs some things like eyelashes, but how does it look so far??

Just bought a wacom tablet yesterday... made this so much easier.

Besides the fact its a "drawn over" picture, I have to say you did a great job! One thing that I would do, is add some red lines (arteries) in the eye, this will really make it look more realistic. But anyways, right now it looks great finish it and it would make a great sig!!

I think it looks amazing, my only suggestion is that you use a few more color changes in the eye to make the color transitions more fluent
