October 12, 200718 yr Hello, :) I have a slayer task of 84 Trolls and since I have done Fremmennik Isles and I'm very keen on seeds I'm going to try my hands on Ice Trolls. Now for Ice Trolls Runts, Tip.It Monsters Database says "You only have to hit 1 damage to get the drop, and you can let honour guards do the rest"and that I should be wearing Yak hide top and bottom with Fremmy wooden rounded shield. Are those facts still true once one has completed Fremmennik Isles? Trolls are also known to hit high against plate armour, so I thought of taking a rune chainbody instead of Yak top. Do you think it would worth it to purchase one for only 84 Trolls? What other alternative armour would you recommend? PS: Despite what says Qeltar's quide about male and female Ice Trolls, I'm not going to purchase a cannon to range them. Many thanks in advance for your kind help. :) Greetings, Zou Lou. October 12, 200718 yr Not sure how much (if any) the Yak Hides help as compared to normal armor, but if you are going to only fight the Runts then you don't need the quest shield. The shield is only to lessen the range impact from the Female Trolls. And the Honor Guards still help even after the quest and as long as you do any damage you will get the drop. You can even bring low level spells to draw the Runts over to the Guards. The thing to be careful with this method is to always watch your HP. There will be a lot of fighting going on and occasionally the Runts will be attacking you and its easy to confuse all the Health Bars above everyone's head.
