Not sure at all how many to bring of each but training to 70 range will make it easier. Fight caves is really 20% level 70% skill (mastering fight caves) and 10% luck. To have the best chance to get your "beauty fire cape," you'll need 70+ Ranged, a set of Guthan's, and 2 fresh Crystal Bows. Look in a guide for more help. Muggiwhplar has a great one.
