April 6, 200521 yr You don't have to do the quest if you don't want to. Get a rope and go to the house at the top of the falls, go out the West door and board a raft. The raft will take you to the first island in the river, then it will break. Once you're on the first island, turn your orientation (use your left and right arrow keys) so that the S on your mini-map is at the top, and the N is at the bottom. You need to do this to be able to see the rock on the second island. Once you see the large grey rock, use your rope with it to get to the second island. Dig next to the tree. Remember, the SEARCH button is your friend. Use it!
