Best Place to "harvest" clues lvl 1, 2, and 3?

i have killed over 100 greater demons and didnt had any lvl 3 clue went to hellhounds killed 200 of them didnt have any clue went to green drags killed 40 didnt had any how do you guys fix it i dont under stand it -

i am doing a lvl 2 clue and i need to be at 09 33 north 02 15 east if you know here this is do i need to do waterfall quest?

guys i had a big big problem i need to do a clue i needed to search for drawers on secund floor in seers i did first time nothing found a friend loged in he didnt foundit neither. so i droped the clue i had a other 1 and again same problem WTH is going on here?
