October 21, 200718 yr Hey Tip.it. Ive been planing to get 99 range for a long time and im finaly deciding to do it. I want to catch red chinchompas MY SELF and i was just wondering about the xp per chin and per hour? (i heard the xp was nurfed?) Also, if i catch my own how much would it cost for the pots and such? i have a holy wrench if that helps. Im 76 range atm but il probbly get it up before starting on chins. (probbly near on 80) I have 70 prayer too. Any advice would be welcome, ive never done this method before. :?
October 21, 200718 yr Do it at 85 ranged. It's about 10k exp/h with chinchompas. potions: take 4 ranged potions, 3 monkfish/sharks, holy wrench, monkey greegree and a tele tablet. That does not say much but do some math, you need 18 p pots [4] per 1000 chinchompas ( a little less), every 1k chinchompas give about 200k-250k experience so. Exp to goal = x Chinchompa exp = y Prayer potions = 18 (every trip) x/y * 18.

October 21, 200718 yr Well at level 63 hunter, I got 174 chins in an hour (bad yes I know). At level 70, it kind of improved at 200s. When you get to set up 5 traps, it's 300-330ish (I tested at 85). Now I'm 95 and I clocked in 400-420 chins an hour (442 is my personal best). You might want to train up to 70 and find a nice quiet spot. When people see you set up just 4 traps, that's a dead give away that you're below level 80 (thus more people would hunt with you -which would affect your chin count per hour).
