Cheapest effective Barrows outfit?

Featured Replies

Simple question...

Also, whats the lowest Range Level I could have to barrow effectively?

Is 60 enough?

Barrow Drops: Guthan's Helm, Karil's Crossbow.

5 Pieces of the Crystal Key so far.

I would never consider meeting people irl. Not just because of risks that they could be a 40 year old man who is only interested in the bottom half of your body.

well u should do it with mage it would make it real fast

if ur gonna do it with just range get 90 at least

if u doing mage/range 60 is fine

Ok... Well I guess I'll be getting 60 Range then.

But I was asking...

Whats the cheapest outfit that still allows me to barrow effectively.

(Using Slayer Dart method)

Barrow Drops: Guthan's Helm, Karil's Crossbow.

5 Pieces of the Crystal Key so far.

depends on your budget

how much are u willing to spend on armor?

EDIT: Just checked, so it's 64...

Well, with that defense level, I highly recommend a setup like this. (I'm putting this in for 70, as I think it would be best for you to get that  )

Helm: Helm of Neitiznot (Or farseer, both are quite equal) > Mystic hat > Any melee helmet, including Barrows or rune > Some sort of Prayer gear

Body: Torag's Platebody > Dharock's Platebody > Rune Platebody > Mystic body

Amulet: Glory > Fury > God Stole > (Un)Holy amulet

Quiver: A few adamant, preferably rune, arrows

Cape: God cape > Obsidian Cape > Any other cape (Actually, a trimmed skill cape would be # 1, but I'm just stabbing at cheapness)

Ring: Ring. Of. Life!!!

Boots: Rune, mystic, dragon. Doesn't make a huge difference.

Legs: Verac's plateskirt > Torag's platelegs > Rune platelegs/skirt

Gloves: Best Recipe for Disaster you can.

Weapon: Slayer staff. Of course :P

Shield: Any you want. Although an unholy book is recommended.

Well, I hope I helped. :)

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

i would say (from best to worst)

Guthans W spear + dart

Verac W flail/Dart

ahrims + Dart

Mystic + Dart

initate + Dart

It'll be 70 once I have 55 Slayer.

And my budget is like 700k.

Barrow Drops: Guthan's Helm, Karil's Crossbow.

5 Pieces of the Crystal Key so far.

i would go with mystic then karils against ahrim

Ahh. Bad budget, so I'll revamp my post.

Head: Neitiznot > Farseer > Mystic hat

Quiver: Just a few rune/adamant arrows

Amulet: Glory > Holy/Unholy Symbol

Cape: Magic Arena God Cape

Body: Rune

Legs: Rune

Weapon: Slayer Staff. Of course.

Shield: Unholy book/Book of Balance

Gloves: Best Recipe for Disaster gloves you can get

Boots: Dragon > Mystic > Rune

Ring: RING OF LIFE!

Now, you're going to use a lot of food in this method, so I recommend bringing monkfish, a few sharks, and 1 or 2 prayer potions.

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
