salim123 Posted November 3, 2007 Share Posted November 3, 2007 Keyloggers :o can u get a key logger from going to a website? i recently just went to a website that my "friend" wanted to show me, he said it was a website that gave u free pins, i new he was trying to scam me or somthin but i thought it would be safe if i went but did not download anything or give anyone my pass as soon as i went on my virus scan popped up and said that it had encounted a virus so my question is: can you get a keylogger from just Visiting a website? Yagami Posted November 3, 2007 Share Posted November 3, 2007 Best to just never go on a website if you don't trust the person who's giving it to you, or if you just don't recognise it, also, I've heard that in emails etc, you click on a very known website, such as http://www.runescape.com, and it re-directs you to a dodgy site asking for your password, which could also install keyloggers, virus' etc onto your computer. :uhh: Never go onto a site unless you type the address yourself, that's what I always do. I hope there's nothing wrong with your computer, best not to log into your RS account until you're sure there's nothing wrong, good luck. I would like to get the most difficult 99 in the game to accomplish. which is woodcutting. because I had a drunken night in philadelphia and sprayed a fire extinguiser, evacuated a 7 story hotel on the philly stadium, spent the night in jail.. then got on level 2 prob & have to pay 50 a month because I have a job.
