connecting to update server

every single time i try to load a world it stops on connecting to update server. the screen just like goes black apart from the toolbar at the top of the game screen. :x

 

Ive tryed almost everything restarted computer like 3 times tryed wid firewall on/off even ran a whole computer scan and still wont work... so please help me lmao . i tryed some stuff that ppl on rs forums sed like deleting temp files n cookies...that never worked erm updated java that didnt work either and deleting the jagex caches suprsingly tha didnt work either lol .

 

so if u think u can help me please do :wall:

im usin AOL 9 its worked fine for like a year then just stopped yesterday. also my msn aint workin so i guess its a connection problem ?unless its a coincidence lol

That happened to me once quite a while ago. Can't remember what the problem was. If you haven't already try resetting the modem, if that doesnt work maybe try a different browser like FireFox.

k if resetting the modem dusnt work i might just reset my comp 2 factory settings coz it worked fine when i first got it.... that shud sort it i guess ?? :?
