2 quick problems, no RuneScape and FireFox trouble

Featured Replies

Ok 2 problems :D

First one. When I try to switch tabs on FireFox (By clicking) it won't let me. The active one (The one I am using) is the only one I can stay on. The other tabs light up, but it won't switch. I'll try rebooting.

Second, no RuneScape:

I had almost exatly the same problem. If this happens again and booting doesn't help:

1. Use Internet Exploder (No typo) to start up the runescape.com homepage

2. Press play game (existing user)

3. On the detail select, go down to where it asks what kind of Java you want to use

4. Select Microsoft Java, follow the instructions

5. Reboot, reinstall FireFox (I did this, I wouldn't be caught dead using IE volintarily) and Voiala (However you say that) Firefox uses MS java, which is slower, but it's worth it, any FF user will agree.

I'm with the guy above me.

Just as a backup...make sure you have the latest version of Java available. I'm sure you could to to the website to check..I'm not sure of the URL though, sorry. I'd also make sure you have Firefox V. 2.0.0.9 (the most up-to-date version of Firefox at the time of this post..you can check at http://www.mozilla.com)..they're fixing new bugs every day with firefox.
