At first there was nothing.

 

 

 

Then, in a burst of light, came the Earth.

 

 

 

It was composed of the elements, the metals, the soil, the sand, the seas. Yet it remained barren. No life existed on the lonely planet until Mother Earth arrived.

 

 

 

In her time she created everything that lived. She created trees, plants, and animals; animals with two legs, three legs, four legs, and even one hundred. Animals that were furry, soft, round, and smooth. Animals that purred, growled, sang, and breathed.

 

 

 

Among the first creatures Mother Earth created was the mighty cheetah. With a stroke of her finger, the first cheetah spawned in the rolling grasslands of the Sahara. She made another of the opposite sex.

 

 

 

The cheetahs grew to be a keen race. They learned to hunt, run faster than any animal on Earth, and catch their prey with a single deadly pounce; the cheetahs were superior hunters. They also became good friends with Mother Earth A cheetah would ask her one day ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅMother, we seek trees for resting, for we grow tired of the huntings.ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
