November 18, 200718 yr Hello tip.it! After a recent break (since may) I'm back and playing! Now when I had left, I also got hacked. I had some some very lucky happenings; around 500k of stuff at drop parties. I also went on a single kq trip with some other guys, and we got the chain :D So now I've accumulated around 2.5m of various things. Now to my question part. I was thinking to start doing MTK again. I made lots of money before, and wondering if its still good. I've seen maple prices have dropped down quite a bit, but wondering if its still a viable way to make good cash! Now if some of you experts would like to point out the best money-making ratio on stuff I'd be much appreciative. Thanks guys!
November 19, 200718 yr I still manage the kingdom on full flax, half maples. I still make a profit off selling just the flax each week. I then just save up all of the seeds and maples till i have around 20-30k maple logs. By then the logs and the seeds should be easier to sell in bulk, and for higher prices. if you have the patience to wait that may weeks. Hope I helped. 99 Fletching | 99 Hunter | 99 Magic | Master of Quests
November 19, 200718 yr All things can drop prices if all people start to do same things, some ppl do it with coal some with maples some with flax & etc... it depends how man see point of game and about what he think very much and ever bad strategy when people start to do something because other people do, allways better to select own original way... Suggestion: You can use Anchor on Waterfiends - is cheap if to compare to GS & effective with crush attack & it hit like Whip.Visit my exp track
November 19, 200718 yr Author Thanks very much Guys! I was thinking, to put lots on flax (enough to make my money back) and the rest on coal. I'd then use the coal to make cannon balls, and get my smithing up. That way I get some nice exp, and make money all around! The gems are always handy too. Cause I lost all mine. So what do you guys think of this method?
November 20, 200718 yr Actually, I've found Maples to be the worst now. The nests are good, but sara-brew hungry pot makers have drove down the price of maples to an abyssmal level, so I avoid them. Next, flax, macros have wrecked the price of flax now, it's like 80ea last I checked. I am currently with 100% coal and 50% Flax. Coal is still a steady 200ea and seems to be gathered nearly equal to the cost percent you'd get maples, when they were 100ea. Flax.... like spinning from time to time and the herb seeds are nice. November 20, 200718 yr At this point maple and flax prices are in the toilet, and selling in bulk is tricky. Right now it is a real buyer's market for maples/flax and you would be lucky to get 80 for flax and 56 for maples. The people that do buy maples know what the prices on MTK are and are squeezing the market in that direction. That being said, tree seeds are valuable and nests are getting a bump b/c of skill share (more people can now use nests for sara brews). With flax, spinning to bs is about the only way to make profit or setting it to a trickle of flax then using it for your own fletching needs. Mostly I think people are waiting to see what the GrEx will do to prices.
November 20, 200718 yr Author Alright, awesome advice guys. thanks! I think I'm going to go full on coal (as it gives good profit, and I need the gems) and then I'll do some flax for my fletching, fish for my training, maybe some maples or seeds or something. (to get my lvls up)
