That depends on what you're looking to do. If you're looking for quick and damaging hits right off with the hope to kill your enemy quickly, then a Dragon Dagger(p++) would be better off. If, however, your goal is just for training, I would recommend the Dragon Longsword, since it has a better max hit, attack rating, and is still decently fast.

d long for regular attacking and dds for special(once you get a higher strength you can use the d long for its special)

Dragon Long is better overall. But why not both. :D
