SHIPPOU
I was digging around for something easier to use than Blender 3D,and ran across something interesting, Sketchup What id does is take most of the modeling tools from other programs, and made them super easy to use, and implemented new easier methods of doing things. In 1 hour of using Sketchup, I was making designs I never could figure out how to in Blander. The program uses verticals and faces to manipulate shapes. Here is videos on how to use it. I know you can not make organic shapes easily (it is possible), but what is your opinion on this? ********** One of the old guard of RS. I never heard about Sketchup until a few days ago. ********** One of the old guard of RS. venomai
I wouldn't call that modeling, it's more like drawing. It reminds me a lot of ZBrush. Sketchup seems to have improved a lot since I last tried it. The wireframe looks really clean. I wonder how it holds up in terms of polycount... :)
