I have just got as far as 65 Magic alching. But now I'm wondering if this is the best way to continue (my target is 71 for now). I am considering...

well its mostly up to u but alching u can get cash.. thats always nice.. witrh fire bolt u could kill things and maybe get good drops.. but idk id do either those 2...
