Random events- Random prizes

Featured Replies

So I was mining some coal today, when I get pulled into a random event where I have to answer questions. It takes about 30 seconds, and when I am done I get a grand prize of a flier advertising bobs axe shop... :(

Is anyone else sick of doing random events and not getting compensated for the time lost while doing them? During the time I was doing that random, I could have easily mined 10 coal, ammounting to 2000gp. I should therefore be compensated with at least 5k. Random events are a good part of runescape. They keep autoers at bay (to an extent) and add fun to the gameplay. However, I believe they should significantly raise the rewards for these events.

The random event awards should be different amounts, depending on your levels. For example, a level 3 n00b might be happy with getting 25 gp for spending a few minutes popping balloons, but a level 126 should be rewarded with at least what he would be able to earn if he/she had not been inconvenienced.

What do you think?

Just choose the 1k next time if you're unwilling to take a gamble. The best thing I've ever gotten from it was a cut diamond though. <.<

No need for the random to be tweaked really. As you said it only takes about 30 seconds.

Holy [cabbage], a mystery box with a mysterious prize inside. HOW HORRIFIC! If you don't like it, take the money.

It's not that hard.

Oh and if you are mining 1 coal every 3 seconds, hats off to you sir.

Why stop there? Let Jagex refund you in cash for the time you spend playing their game. Of course to make it fair, an hourly wage will be introduced according to experience, age and marital status.

If you would have spent those 30 seconds eating a banana, it would be alot better for your health you know.

But hey, you' re saying that a lvl 126 should get an onyx ring, just because he is a lvl 126? That' s almost discriminating.

I dont remember him saying the 126 should get an onyx, but 25gp may be a little low...even to a lvl3

You dare question my eccentricities?

Because Tip.It, for the most part, has little patience for stupid suggestions that will usually be geared towards nothing but separating players through combat level?
