I am member of course and lvl. 41 hunter right now.

 

 

 

What combination is the fastest xp. Right now am hunting in woodlands close to fairy ring with [puncture]ly kebbit (deadfall) and rabbit (snare and ferret).

 

 

 

course could do graack in pitfall but wonder if it is slower than what i am doing?

I think the fastest way to lvl up from 41 would to be catching swamp lizards with nets and ropes in the swamp south east of Canifis. Once you get to 47 then do the same with orange salamanders and then at 59 red salamanders. They'd be faster xp than pitfalls just because you can catch them much faster. I'm not sure since I havn't been there for a while but the hunting spots for these animals may be quite full with other up and coming hunters but still worth a look. Also might be handy to take more ropes and nets with you than you can set up as your traps may fail and you can set them up again faster leaving the worry of having to pick up your other equipment after. Smoking the trap with a torch could also help.

Catch swamp lizards until a few levels after falconry is available, then do that until you are sick of it. Later catch orange or red salamanders until 63, or a few level after. Then head to red chinchompas until 99 Hunter. :
