butterflies much harder to catch now?

I was going through an area with butterflies that could be caught for hunter, and I've noticed that it's really hard to catch them. A long time ago, all I had to do was click the general area and I'd be able to catch it. However, now, it seems that I have to click on the butterfly exactly, which makes it very hard.
