  1. Are any mods still active here? This forum is overrun with spammers.
  2. I remember Jagex saying a full globetrotter outfit would act as a tier 4 luck enhancer when opening clues. However, the wiki doesn't say anything about this. Can anyone confirm whether this is the case?
  3. 2,600 skill total: Level 99 Smithing: Level 99 Farming: I also unlocked Invention on an alt account. :D
  4. I'm hoping to eventually reach level 120. So yeah, there's still lots of work to do. :D

  6. I'm not sure if this is the right place, but the ARENAscape domain expired a few weeks ago. Any chance this could be resolved?
  7. I got level 99 Fishing earlier today. :-) The screenshot doesn't show the level-up fireworks because my PrtSc key was having problems. Oh well, close enough. :P

  9. I just got level 99 Runecrafting a few moments ago. :-)
  10. I just passed 2,500 skill total. The double XP weekend is definitely off to a good start. :D
  11. I noticed this thread hasn't been active for a while. So there's a question that's been on my mind for some time: whether gender matters in a friendship. This isn't 100% related to relationships, but I thought it fits this thread. I originally posted it on Reddit but also wanted to hear the opinions of my fellow TIF'ers. I'll preface this by saying that I'm a guy who is open to friends of either gender. From what I've heard from most people, gender has no bearing on friendships. However, there have been issues that only come up when the person I interact with happens to be female: * Shortly after starting my second job, I introduced myself to a girl who had also recently joined. We mostly talked about mundane subjects, such as where she went to school. A minute later, my boss pulled me aside and told me that I should stick to group conversations (as opposed to talking to someone one-on-one) in order to remain "professional." Though he didn't say it was because she was female, he never brought this up when I had similar conversations with male co-workers. * We invited another family over for dinner a few years ago. Their daughter "C" (who is very close to my age) had planned to come but bailed out at the last minute due to school-related matters. I then posted to her Facebook saying that we missed her and that we should find some other time to catch up. After word got to my mother, she told me to be careful when posting these things because "C" might think I'm interested in her, which wasn't the case. * There are two other families that we often get together with - let's call them A and B - that still have kids living with them. Family A has a daughter slightly younger than me while family B has a son who is a few years older. When I asked whether family A's daughter was home on our last visit, my mother told me to be careful because she might get the wrong message that I'm romantically into her. She never brought up any concerns about being mistaken for gay when I asked about family B's son. * There was a guy at my last job that I came to know fairly well. I even invited him over to my house once. Though I've managed to build a strong rapport with a few female co-workers since then, I never felt comfortable asking them to hang out in our personal time, especially considering that they were all in relationships. I know most people will say gender doesn't matter in a friendship, but I can't help but feel that it does have an effect on how people perceive social interactions. Thoughts?
  12. It's actually a bit to the northeast. https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/runescape2/images/7/7a/Coordinate_clue_02.50N_21.46E.png/revision/latest?cb=20141228024722
  13. People were panic-selling due to this tweet from Mod Timbo: https://twitter.com/JagexTimbo/status/875001120627859456
  14. Looks like goblin raids just got a lot harder: Credit: Reddit user /u/cralo4
  15. I plan to get level 90 on the remaining port skills. I'm fairly close to 90 slayer and will probably go for that first, followed by 90 construction.
  16. A lot of Twitch users don't play RuneScape and are probably more than giving away their codes. I'd recommend checking sites like Reddit and Twitter for giveaways. You might be able to snipe one if you're lucky. For Twitter, one good method is to search for a combination of keywords like "runescape," "twitch" and "code," and sort tweets by latest first.
  17. According to Mod Timbo, none have entered the game as of the second week of release: https://reddit.com/r/runescape/comments/64e4pi/time_to_look_through_every_single_of_mod_timbos/dg1ia5x
  18. This place has been empty for a while, so here's me getting 2,400 skill total. :-)
  19. I started in February 2001. I only played on and off between 2009 and 2013 but am more active these days.
  20. Mod Timbo just said that lower tiers of luck-enhancing items aren't required: https://twitter.com/JagexTimbo/status/850753989159333890
