outthere65
I have just hit lvl 60 at the orange salamanders and have moved over to the red's...they seem to be a little slower. My question is there a combination of hunting animals that would be better than just hunting reds with my 4 nets? I know when I was in the 40's I was using deadfalls and another type hunting to advance quicker. Most everyone that I hear of say the reds til red chins. just thought there might be a better combination for quicker xp? Thanks
Harrington
I'm level 84 now, and personally, I never bothered with salamanders. I found the trap setups too tedious. Instead I spent most of my time from about lvl 60-70 on falconry. I managed about 35k per hour on spotted kebbits, 40k later on dark kebbits, then finally about 45k per hour on darks/dashing kebbits. Dunno if this is faster than salamanders, but maybe give you something to try out to break up the boredom ;) p.s. I've been using red chinchompas since level 70 and caught an average of 150 per hour. I now catch double that amount at lvl
outthere65
Thanks for the advice...I did falcons til 63 ...now I tried red chins. Seem t be slow for me at this level... guess I better go back to falcons til up near lvl 70...mainly shooting for lvl 65 for spottier cape. If any other hunters have a good combination they use...please share
Ollyc3
Orange Salamanders become faster than Falconry at level *58*. Red Salamanders become faster than Oranges at level *68*. Sallys are the best way to go xp wise til chins :) 2376/2376 total achieved - May 2009 Retired Dec 2009
outthere65
Sounds good... read in a post in a search that sallys are the fastest xp. I am not interested in making money....just xp. Does anyone know of a post or link that has the fastest xp available for hunting ...say at a lvl 63 like me. thanks
Ollyc3
Read my post in the other Hunter question thread.. Read that carefully but if your going for 99 and want the fastest possible xp.. Do what my post says, but do Red Salamanders til *80* then go onto Red Chins :) 2376/2376 total achieved - May 2009 Retired Dec 2009
SomeWelshGuy
If I were you I would do Red Chins. They may be a little bit slow at the start, but get a few levels and the pace will increase. Only slightly less xp than red salamanders, but you don't have to release as they stack, they give you bucket loads of money, and they are much more fun. Retired Tip.It Crew Mapper. Ollyc3
Why would you sacrifice fast xp for 1mil extra cash if you go to 99? You'll be at chins getting real slow xp and you'll only be making an extra 1mil profit if you go to 99, theres no point. 70 is a pretty good level for speed and xp at Chins, though they get fastest at 80. 2376/2376 total achieved - May 2009 Retired Dec 2009
