If he gives me like $10 USD in real life, then i send $10USD from my Paypal account to his, can he use that to make the payment for membership? Or does he have to add a credit/debit card to his account for it to work?

April 29, 200521 yr Actually, that service Jagex offers is PayByCash, not PayPal. They are 2 entirely different things. I too thought for some time that Jagex accepts PP, but that's not the case. PBC allows you to pay for members through a lot of options other than credit card: Cash, wire transfer, check, etc.

I know that if your friend's paypal account is not verified it will take time (around 5-6 hours) to clean the transaction (it's paypal policy to prevent fraud). But if it's a verified one you can acces p2p instantly. To verfiy your account you need to provide real informations (your name, bank details, address etc) Look at their FAQ What does it mean to be Verified?
