I'm currently raising money for 70 construction and to pimp out the rest of my mansion, including adding a dungeon :D But I have a few concerns...

  • [*:2lai6qiu]Is it possible for my stairs from my Skill hall to lead into my dungeon?

    [*:2lai6qiu]Is this a correct set-up for a dungeon?

    [*:2lai6qiu]This skill is a pain in the Bloodveld, there are lots of things not addressed in the Knowledge Base or Tip.it Skill Guide. Are there going to be any surprise problems that I'm going to run into? (Example: I can't build the Dungeon Stairs leading into the Skill Hall above, or I can't put the Dungeon Stairs right next to the Altar)

    [*:2lai6qiu]Sometime in the future, I will have the required construction level to build a 'Rocnar'. I wonder how this Floor works, I've never seen one. Does it just sit inside the cage with trapped players in the Oubliette and attack them? Is it possible to kill the Rocnar?

* Is it possible for my stairs from my Skill hall to lead into my dungeon?

yes, but make sure you have the spiral staircase

* Is this a correct set-up for a dungeon?

it appears that your dungeon setup is one square shifted downwards.

As you might have found out by now, aligning the doors is a [bleep]. Also, the junction vs. corridor picture is not very clear.

Rocnar is a high level monster that packs quite a bunch. It's a nice pet to have to abuse people trying to escape your cages, but definitely killable.

Thanks for the answers! I have a few follow-up questions, if thats alright.

Why is that? Do regular staircases not work?

What do you mean?

Aligning the doors? I'm not sure what you mean, sorry. Could you please explain more? And what are you do you mean by the 'junction vs. corrridor picture is not clear'?

My mistake. Regular staircases works. What I mean is if you intent to have a upper floor, only spiral staircase will able to connect all three levels.

What do you mean?

Nevermind, misread your floorplans.

When you're buying a new room, the doors are ghosted (transparent white). It's rather frustrating exercise when you're trying to rotate the room just the way you like it.
