Yer, I trained Master Farmers until about level 55 before switching to Knights of Ardy. Since then Pyramid Plunder has been released, and I hear that's quicker than knights after about level 52+

Problem with Pyramid Plunder is that you probably won't make any money unless you're lucky enough to get a Specter. Knights of Ardy will earn you about 50-60k cash per hour.

Pyramind plunder is very good xp.

And you can make a bit of cash by selling all the things you loot to the man in the entrance to the Agility pyramid just outside of Sophanem.

I suggest dropping the items until you can get gold ones for faster xp.

P2P offers more and better ways of making money than f2p. That's one of the cons you just have to play with if you don't feel like having 1 bigmac meal less per month.
