April 27, 200521 yr Looking for some headphone advice. *nudges herr* I wanna buy some cordless headphones cause I'm getting tired not being able to move more than 4 foot with headphones on in room. So can someone reffer to me some good quality ones not too high priced but pretty much no budget and if anyone has any can you tell me if they actually are very good or should just stick with cord?
April 27, 200521 yr I would reccomend checking out mp3 player forums, such as http://www.ipodlounge.com. They have a large amount of helpful users, and a ton of guides on everything from headphones, to adapters, to cases for the iPod. As far as I know, wireless headphones are still in their "beta" stage, so they are priced amazingly high. For example, the Bluetake i-Phono BT420EX Wireless Headphones are priced at 249 American. If you are a sound junkie looking for high quality headphones, of course the shure's or sennheisers are the top pics, priced anywhere from about $50 - 300 American. You can also opt to go with lower priced yet good quality (imo) headphones, such as the Griffin EarJams, Apple headphones, or a regular pair of $20 Sony's. Check out http://www.ipodlounge.com/index.php/reviews/ for more info, scroll about halfway down to find the section on headphones. Bmw
April 27, 200521 yr Author Yeah all the cordless one's I see kinda look bulky. When I say headphones though I do mean proper old school headphones with like cusions for ears like my current ones type thing rather than on the go ones. http://www.proaudiostore.co.uk/proddet.php?id=237 But these are now 6 years old but served me damn well.
April 27, 200521 yr Oh, sorry Well I'm not too sure on those types of headphones, but you may want to try out a pair of these noise reducing headphones: http://www.ipodlounge.com/index.php/rev ... g-headset/ or these $300(ouch) but highly reccomended Bose headphones. http://www.ipodlounge.com/index.php/rev ... g-headset/ Other than that, once again, not too sure on headsets. Sorry.
April 27, 200521 yr I have a set of Acoustic Research wireless 'phones I got for $100 USD. Sound quality is pretty good. It's not fantastic, but it's fine for me. I'm no audiophile, though.
April 28, 200521 yr Here's my advice: Do. Not. Get. Cordless. They will be awful. Trust me, I have some. Get a headphone extension cable. Also, most new headphones come with a 3m cable anyway. If you want good value, get Sennheiser HD555 (what I have) @ ~̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã90. If you want best quality (needs an amp) get Sennheiser HD650 @ ~̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã220. If you want super super SUPER bass, get Beyerdynamic DT-770 @ ~̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã150. I've heard all of them, and they're all great.
April 28, 200521 yr I'd go with Sennheisers. I have a $140 pair. They're cordless, and have the most amazing noise cancelling I've ever seen. You can put them on, turn o the noise cancelling, and have someone yell at you from 2 feet away - and you won't hear it. They're small things, too, not huge things that cover half your face.
April 28, 200521 yr Yeah, I got a 20 ft long cord to extend my head phones and it rolls up kind of like a telephone chord does. I got them at staples and they cost like 5 dollars (US.) PDM PDM
