Attack or Strength and how to get there

Featured Replies

Recently i was given an abyssal whip by a very good friend of mine, but im torn... should i train to 70 attack and then weild it, or should i get my strength up first, id be grateful if you could answer, thanks everyone.

I'm partially retired from Rs2 at the moment, i only check my account every so often, but ill be back soon!! combat lvl is 80, highest ll is slayer: lvl 85

Since the Abyssal Whip can't train Strength, you should raise your Strength to around 70-75, then train Attack to 70. Then you can use the Whip on Controlled and train both of them.

Strength is overrated, just get attack to 70 :). The increase in amount of xp per hour with a whip is worth it.

I agree strength is overrated. Your weapon controls most of your damage.

At lvl56str I can only hit 7-8 with kick so just get 70 attack.
