I'm at the end of the quest. One problem. Sigmund is impossible. There is absolutely no way to get an attack through. They say that the ancient mace knocks off his protect but it doesnt. And if you are supposed to do it more than once, then he is thoroughly unkillable because it takes up a full bar. Anyway, is there a better way? Something I'm doing wrong?

Hit him with a spell or range and he'll put on range/mage protect. Hit him with your mace spec then.
