December 13, 200718 yr ok odd title but this is a direct quote of the stuff i wrote on the offical runescape forums. I thought it would to a bit better since the threads here won't pop down to the 3rd page in a half hour!... Oh. and i think you should know that i take a side of a person that can Never pk succesfully. generlly loses all duel areana fights. but the trading thing effects everyone never less from me on runescape forums ok i am making this post as normal and casual as possible but with actualy point.i will list each of the RWT updats in an order and lets see how they have effected runescape itself... Assist person: ok this is problley the ONLY of the updates that hasn't really hurt any players but has hurt scammers. note that i am saying this after they changed it abit, for only the usefull skills of it. There are helpfull players around runescape and all are/were generally nice. So those players choose to spend THEIR time to help those that need the extra level or two.TBC From me on runescape forums The mighty Duel Arena Changes. Because of a computer lagg this wont be as big as what i intended... "Hmm duel Tornments. THIS is gonna be AUSOME!.....when update comes.......What!!! this is so unfair. i can never win any of these things. always getting owned by some lv 70er this is stupid.... What they changed the Duel arena too?!. OH no they didnt! your kidding. i've lost all my cash! 3k limit! per 15 minutes! thats 12k an hour! i can get more by pickpocketing a normal man for peat sake!" some a random madeup player... THis update has changed alot of cash making ways for a bunch of people and only helped the lv 120's with their 6 sets of barrows. no lv 90 can come close to even win a regestor 1 tornment! yet alone a lv 80 or lower!. They then changed it secretly so that the "LUCK" thing was partailly removed. ok good. but a lv 90- will still always lose. still unfair. ANSWER: you need to make the 3k limited to a minimum of 100k per 15 mins. or you'll lose some members.. 2nd ANSWER: make the torments break into levels instead of ranks( if a rank 8000 loses to a 7000s, who make be a lv 120 when the rank 8000 is a lv 80/90. that 8000 rank will drop dramaticly!) but if the rank 7000 loses. he might actually GAIN points) make it as the following registor 1:lv 3-20 registor 2:lv 20-45 registor 3:lv 45-70 registor 4:70-100 registor 5:100-126(there could be a 6th registor with lv's 110-126 but thats a maybe.) RANK REGISTORS 1:7000- 2:6000-8000 3:8000+ Also. can someone tell me how to spell picpockting? the theive thing? it keeps getting beep out. dont post till i say though
December 13, 200718 yr Author sadly it is from me again :P THE GRAND, GRAND EXCHANGE!!! ok this was another thing, THOUGHT to be a great update. people were worried that merchantising might die. Others tried to make ways as it won't(eg. i cant remember method but it involved YOU picking your stuff you wanted and you can see the better offer from ALL worlds. when it was released. YOU Jagex droped half the prices which were made by players and regually updated on certain fan sites, of which players rely upon to know the prices of objects... Not only that! i tried selling 3 things. Karils bow, 600 steel arrows, 20 snapdragon, and buying 1 thing. a whip. Now i got NONE of those things sold in the EXchange. i even went back each time i logged on(1 per day) to see how it was going. when i got there i had "selling bow for 300k" and the price range of "285k-290k" and a few days later it was eventually 255k of which i finally managed to sell! the same happened to ALL of my items... Now that was just me. but the thing has happened to alot of players. What jagex needs to change with this is make it so. that if 3 players are selling something for 2k and another is buying for 2.5k. not automatically make that item worth 2k. keep it on the thing. and change it when a fan site(yes that means a little reserch) and see how they posted the item to cost. for example: site A. item worth for 300k SITE B: item worth 280k Site C: item worth 300k. obviusly 1 or more of the sites would not have been updated for THAT item in a while so it may difer. but find the average(mean) of that item then make it as that. i dont know how you can find a way to implant that as a computer in the game unfortuanlly.... ok next update..... From the one and only me! :mrgreen: The almighty WILDERNESS UPDATE. Another "want" amoung players, unaware that it would ruin their untire effort to Pk people... lets start with the wilderness itself. smaller space. gravestones. you removed tele block... things you stoped from happening. people purposling killing themselves for things. any chance of pking in the edville area. no more green dragon hunting(PKERS) and the rune rocks. and the greator demons. AND the choas elemental hunters(thats just mean if you pk them!) and the pkers that hang around the god arena stage....hmm alot of bad and only 1 good. Now for the Clan wars: a fancy update. but takes up a bit of space really. nothing bad about it till you compare it with Bounty HUNTER and castle wars... Bounty Hunter: the New and Only way for a person to player kill. Good bye single pkers. you will die in 3 hits from a bunch of lv 70 clan members(when you are lv 100!) i tried killing the person i wanted. got owned cause he had dragon bolts. oh well that happens. BUT BUT! as he and i were about to die. 3 other guys(probly from the same clan as my target) finished me off as the other guy sat there healing himslef... PROF* of this action can be seen on the board itself... max kill for people that actually kill their TAGETS:300 the rest of them was around the 100s max kill for rouge killers:500! rest of them was mainly 300-400! See what you've done. you pretty much killed the 1 pker vs 1 pker/victum status in a single combat area. to a COMPLETE MULTI combat area that you can ONLY win if you have a large CLAN! either get rid of the thing and make it a mini game. or make it larger with an addition of a single combat area and a safe zone at the entrances.. i am unable to talk bout these monsters because i have not seen one. but feel free to add if you have
December 13, 200718 yr Author The last me! :boohoo: :uhh: THe latest killer. that hurts not only RWT or pures. BUT THE ENTIRE, helpfull runescape comunity.... THIS IS THE TRADER AND DROPING CHANGES. if you didnt notice there is parents that play the game WITH their kids. they help them out by giving them armor for whenver they die or something like that, too keep them happy. Others like the parents again. that are able to get lots of cash give their friends things like whips and cash(1mill+) as for the droping thing. you hvae killed a few things such as . Drop partyies:alot of people enjoy this more than the party room, the reason because you dont have every banker in runescape invited newbs and noobs to a thing that you wanted just your FRIENDS to join in. So no more of that. another , but mainly relates to Gravestones. noobs die. and sometimes in a place that they wont want to or couldn't even get back to because they lost their armor that allows them the ability to get back to the area... so whats the point in having a grave stone in the deep wildy? or in the god arena(for a person that dosn't have a games necklace or trojheim teleport) they wouldn't bother even if they lost over a mill of itemss. And guess what. the people that were there to witness his death dont even get his stuff. NO ONE DOES. it's worse than watching someone die right next to you and teleporting, JUST BEFORE you realised they died and you could claim their stuff. (happend to a mid-friend of mine while in the first level of the daggonoths place.)
