Im not too keen on the composition, it looks like the ship is driving into the whale.

 

Whalefishers shoot them with harpoons, not the ships themselves. :wink:

 

I dont know if you could replace the ship with another render, but I guess thats impossible.

 

I also think the 'dots' are a bit too sharp and unnecissary, at the blood.

Im slowly working on V2, Yeh the text sucks.

 

There is a line from the harpoon coming down the the whale, i did'nt intend for it to look like the boat was driving into the whale.
