December 15, 200718 yr Would it be possible to create an option to disable the visibility of avatars? It is possible to disable signatures, which is nice, but also turning off avatars would remove a lot more clutter. Perhaps there is a problem because then you might not be able to differentiate Tip.it moderators from players? Thanks for reading/considering/implementing [/bads]
December 16, 200718 yr Clutter? They're less than 8kb to download and they don't extend the page any further than its minimum amount, unless you're getting everyone writing 1 liners and they must have no sigs or writing in them. Is it worth the hassle to disable them for so little effect to occur?
December 16, 200718 yr As many times as I've said it before, I need to say it again. This feature is already present in phpBB3, which means it would be a wasted effort to implement at this point. True more than ever now that phpBB3 has been officially released to the public.
December 17, 200718 yr Author By clutter I mean personal clutter. I don't like them. Cruiser, I don't understand what you are saying... is Tip.it planning to move to phpBB3 in the near future, in which it will be possible? If not, then the time would be worth it, no? [/bads]

December 17, 200718 yr Yes they will be moving to it. How soon now that it's been released isn't known by anyone outside the admins. Regardless of time, implementing something in phpbb2 only to have it overwritten by phpbb3 is a waste of time that could be better spent modifying other parts of phpbb3 to suit what is needed by Tip.It.
