Mercifull
uninstall extentions one by one until it works. if that fails then uninstall all extensions and reinstall firefox Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Vape
After checking to see if it's any of you extensions but before reinstalling Firefox I suggest creating a new profile, here's a chat log of me explaining to a guy how to do it. Sorry it's kinda messy, I'll write it up into a proper guide sometime soon :P Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: okay, time to create a new profile Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: exit firefox and then go start -> run and type "firefox[Caution: ExecutableFile] -profilemanager" without quotes Chris says: kk im in that profile manager thing Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: click "new profile" enter a name for it, click yes a few times, la-de-da-de-da Chris says: kk Chris says: i was using default Chris says: now 'Chris' is selected Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: okay Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: now you should be in firefox with no bookmarks or anything Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: yes? Chris says: yup Chris says: -_- Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: okay now exit firefox Chris says: k Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: open uo my computer and go to c:\Documents and settings\YOURWINDOWSXPACCOUNT\Application data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles Chris says: er Chris says: there is no application data Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: 2 secs Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: tools -> folder options -> view tab. under "advanced settings" go to "show hidden files and folders" Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: then apply and ok Chris says: yeah its there now Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: okay Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: application data\mozilla\firefox\profiles Chris says: im in profiles Chris says: =] Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: should be a foulder names 8dgtrndm.default and another named 8dgtrndm.chris Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: go into the default one Chris says: er Chris says: does the 8dgtrndm have to be the same? Chris says: cause for default i have something different Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: eight digit random ;) Chris says: and with chris Chris says: ah okay Chris says: should default and the new profile be the same? Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: no not necessarily Chris says: kk Chris says: im in default Chris says: =] Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: okay then Chris says: kk Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: 2 secs i have to look up which files we need Chris says: kk Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: bookmarks.html, cert8.db, cookies.txt, formhistory.dat, key3.db and signons.txt are the useful files i think, so select them, copy and then paste into the new profile "chris" Chris says: and select yes to all? Chris says: to overwrite Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: yeah Chris says: kk Chris says: done Cameron - http://getfirefox.com says: okay Chris says: open up ff?
