I have another lvl1 def, lvl99magic guy. A lesser demon combat with me. Assuming all other factors are even, which guy would be damaged more or will they take the same damage?
December 20, 200718 yr Whether you will take damage or not is based on your defense and your opponent's attack. The higher your defense, the more chance of your opponent hitting a 0. The account with 99 defense will have much more 0's hit on him, and thus will take less damage. The 1 defense thing going around is because it keeps your combat level low, so you can have high combat stats for your level.
December 20, 200718 yr Against a lesser demon (assuming you stay behind some obstacle and the demon can't reach you) the damage received would be the same. A big, fat 0. Defense only helps you avoid attacks. Defense won't reduce the opponent's max hit. What character are you making? If you're a generalist, go for good defense.
