December 23, 200718 yr The guide says the harder the monster the better the reward from the scroll, What is the best monster to kill then for the best reward? I know jellies drop them often, but are only lvl 78, while hellhounds drop them often too and are over 100. Does that mean I should kill hellhounds for clue scrolls?
December 23, 200718 yr Author the guide said the harder the monster the longer and harder the trail and the better reward, and I just finished a jelly clue lvl 3 and the reward was aweful, rune battle axe, some runes and a black chaps
December 23, 200718 yr Well, I've had both good and bad results from jellies.....and the same from clues from Gargoyles and Hellhounds, I don't know the statistics, but in my experience it always seems to be a bit of pot luck I just don't do enough of them to be able to explain or justify satisfactorily any further than that, but All Level 3's seem worth doing, and may result in not-so-great rewards
December 23, 200718 yr Author yeah, I have had rewards worth 500K and some worth 30K, I was wondering if there was a way to more often than not, get the higher dollar TT.
December 23, 200718 yr As a clue "expert" I can tell you that the monster you get the clue off does not matter, only the level of the clue itself (1, 2 or 3). A clue from a Dagannoth king and a clue from a jelly have the same chance of giving you a a rare. Don't think I've had to post about this since the week TT came out, good time trying to discover how they worked.
December 23, 200718 yr Nothing is really more frequent than others, sometimes you go hundreds of monsters without one, other times you can get about 3 clues in 50 kills. It's probably best to kill something you can kill the most quickly
December 23, 200718 yr Go to jellys, they drop lv 3 clues and easy to kill, use D'hides against them<3:
