99 Construction, not sure what to train with.

Featured Replies

Right, Title pretty much says it, I want to get 99 Construction, because I know not much more than 400 people have it in the game, and it'd be nice to have, also it has a hot cape/hood and emote.

I'm thinking Oak Larders, don't worry about cash, I'm not going to take that seriously and go "Yeah, I'll start training with Guilded altar building", Something with the best xp for the smallest amount of cash, I'd rather not spend loads on it.

I've calced a bit, it works out I'd need 175k Oak Logs to make into Oak Larders, which is Oak Logs/Larder costs(8 Oak Logs) = 21,875 Oak Larders.

TBH, I could just buy all those Oak logs, that doesn't bother me, turning them into planks doesn't bother me either, I just want to know;Is there a more efficient way of training Construction at my level? (82)

I've heard rumours that Dungeon Doors are better? How many Logs do they need? What type? How much XP does it give compared to Oak Larders?

Thanks in Advance.

I would like to get the most difficult 99 in the game to accomplish. which is woodcutting.
because I had a drunken night in philadelphia and sprayed a fire extinguiser, evacuated a 7 story hotel on the philly stadium, spent the night in jail.. then got on level 2 prob & have to pay 50 a month because I have a job. It's their way of collecting more money out of me.

My friend my Construction isn't what you would call high really, I find Oak Larders to be an extremely effective method, If you have the money to spend, It can be a very fast method of doing it...Although, Because your house is so NOOB the kitchen is miles away from the portal...Unlike my house -.-

I'm not entirely sure about the dungeon doors myself, But I promise you, I'll get some research done on it and I'll get back to you if no one else does, I do know that Oak Dungeon Doors offer up 600 experience compared to the 480 of the larders, But if it uses up more logs then really that's sort of irrelevant.

Well, I'll look into it and get back to you :-k

Dungeon doors are infact actually better. When you have a butler to help you unote planks, since he can carry 20 planks at a time. Each dungeon door uses 10 planks so that's 2 doors per plank compared to 8 planks per larder.

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

oak dungeon doors use 10 oak planks, give 600xp

Oak larders use 8 planks and give 480 xp

Oak always gives 60 xp per plank so dungeon doors would be quicker

Thanks, both of you, really helps. <3:
