for training should i use mith knives or mith bolts?

Bolts are better than knives, in that case, but you'd be better off using a bone crossbow + bone bolts. Extremely cost effective.

 

 

 

But if you decide to use mithril bolts, I'd suggest killing something that might make you your money back, at least: fire giants, blue dragons or lesser/greater demons, for example.

In the case of bolts versus knives, bolts would probably be a lot more effective. They cut through pretty easily at your ranged level and a decent ranged attack bonus.
