Yew log rates

Hey everyone, I'm going for 99 WC and I have a question. How many yew logs can I cut in an hour, or something along those lines. I currently have 80WC and a Rune ax, but I should be getting a Dragon ax soon. Please don't say things such as willows are faster, because I know that already.

And if anyone has some suggestions as to where to cut the logs (f2p or p2p) it would be great, thanks =)

Thanks for help in advance ::'

I have 94 wcing and once you reach 90 they get decently fast. My advice to you is to cut willows till 90 and then head over to south east gnome stronghold about 5 yew trees there and a mage. You will get about 300 yews an hour.

Since I am level 81 woodcutting, the rate of yew logs all depends on the crowd factor. Normally, I get 200-250 yew logs if there is 1 or 2 people per tree, which you have a greater chance of finding at night. If I cut during peak time, which is around noon, then the population is much more greater, (5-6 people per tree) thus, trees tend to fall faster. That means you will get around 100-150 yew log an hour.

Good-luck woodcutting. :D

i agree with 99 melee im currently 80wc with d wc axe and i cut all my yews at southeast gnome stronghold. Its a little far from a bank, but when trips are 6-10 minutes apart what does that matter.
