It's like an old T.V. with an antennae missing. Its hard to explain but its like a bunch of flashing red lights are all over the computer screen... On XP, just go Control Panel > System > Hardware Tab > Device Manager > Then expand the little '+' sign next to Display Adapters. This will show your Graphics Card.
