Well, I think you answered your own question. You said should I WASTE 5m. If you think it is a waste, then don't do it and train PC. I personally like PC still, but I also don't mind ectoing my way to a few extra prayer levels. But since you put it that way, then I say PC. How long it would take depends on how quickly you gain points, and whether you use it at the 100 point bonus level.
