Is is possible to train on the gorillas in the ape atoll if I havnt finished the quest? I have gotten to the part where I can get to the island.

 

And if thats yes, any tips?

Imo it's worth it to finish because the teleport takes you right to the altar and gorillas, but technically I guess you could get there yes. Quite a hassle for training
