Hey

Im planning to get 99 fletching (nearly 70 atm) but I was thinking why not train WC along with it?

Is it worth all those hours of cutting willows or w/e and not making any profit at all?

If so,

im lvl 60 wc'ing, where should i train? And from which lvl should I start cutting yews, and when mages?

It depends on you if you're gonna train woodcutting, its a decent way of training fletching and offsetting costs.

Fastest place to train would be willows at Barbarian Outpost if you're banking, or teaks at Tai Bwo Wannai powerchopping if not.

Dont do mages, they're never better for cash or xp than yews, even at 99 with a daxe. I recommend starting at yews at 85+

At the moment, Willows are (last time I tried) practically unsaleable on the exchange, and at miserable prices too.

So either cut and burn Willows for firemaking, or cut & fletch unstrung bows to drop or general store dump. Maybe work out on some of the member's stuff between willow & Yew in level, as Yew will be pretty slow at a bare level 60. Maybe Maples and unstrung Maple longs, until you reach 70 fletching to make Yew longs to alch.

The price of Yews has risen since the death of the bots, and the efficient exchange makes it easy for even small quantity Yew cutters to sell at market rate, while the balanced trade rules make it impossible to sell at anything away from the market rate, so being able to cut your own fletching supplies is going to be more important now than it ever was (or wasn't) before.

I don't think yews become any faster at 85+..
