shades and firemaking

Is it wise to spend 600k getting 80 firemaking? will i make my money back quickly with shades?

 

 

 

I really want a firemaking cape so i thought if shade burnining was good money, I can burn maples the whole way and yew from 98-99.

Sounds easy enough to burn shades. But, the problem is getting the sacred oil

 

for the logs to burn the shades on.

 

 

 

 

 

Its easier just to burn plain logs.

The benefits of Shade Burning have decreased also as Splitbark has a very low demand right now, I'd say you could get better profit and speed by earnign money, then burning regular logs.

Sacred oil's a pain and the money for all the building and blah blah blah, but just buy olive oil, kill a truck load of those low level 40 shades for sanctity+

 

 

 

May not be much but if you burn the highest level shades, the ones with the silver keys, you get some rune items to alch, swamp paste for more building, crafting exp eh, and some other stuff you can probably sell, I think they also give clues and half keys o.o
