Ranging - 40 - 70

Hello, haven't played runescape since the gmaul came out, just as slayer released..with all these new updates/new weapons/armours i have no idea where to train and what with.

 

 

 

Around that update i did 40-65 at ogres/moss giants then continued at fire giants til 70. I used mage shortbow and steel arrows.

 

 

 

I've read about using bone bolts or something?

 

 

 

Basically, what's the fastest way to get range to 70. Money isn't an option but the cheaper method is prefered[sp?].

 

 

 

My ways i can think of;

 

Moss/Ogres: 40-70 ms and steel arrows

 

Experiments: 40-70 iron darts or ???

 

 

 

Any other methods you can think of post here, thx for your time :P

mossies with iron arrows are good :D

Bone bolts hit relatively high (I got 11s at level 50 range), and they only cost 4ea from the shop in Dorgesh-Kaan (C'Bow cost 2K, you need have done Death to the Dorgeshun to use the special attack). I've heard the Ogres are good, but for levels 40-53 (current level) I stayed at the hobgoblins south of the crafting guild.

 

 

 

If you are short of time, and have money to spend, cannons are meant to be great xp.

they've been nerfed, (x bow) and give 15k less exp / hour than old good MSB :P
