How should I get 70 defence, it is currently 57 & my combat level is 68. I need 70 defence to hold ahrims (70 Mage).

Idk the xp there but i believe slayer would be nice to him, cause you get different tasks, kill different monsters...

You can try slayer with a black mask and whip; very fast, or just PC for it
