No clue if item in inventory?

Featured Replies

On the Treasure Trail tip page the is a line down the bottom in FAQ's that says Jagex has said you can't get a clue if an item is in your inventory from the last treasure trail. Is this your bank inventory or on hand inventory? So if I am wearing any trimmed armour I have gotten from a trail, I will not get a new clue? can anyone clarify this?

I've been killing this monster for ages without a clue!

According to Jagex you can't have anything in your inventory from the last trail you did. So if you have anything in your inventory from your last trail, that might be why. Also, monsters will not drop clues if you already have one in your bank/inventory.

I have never noticed any of this, just thought you had to finish one trail before you can get a new clue.

But Im sure someone verified this information before putting it on the site. 8)

Gathering from the text this must be about the hand inventory, not your bank.

Not in your inventory means not in your inventory. In the bank doesn't count, and neither does wearing a treasure trails item. If you're wearing a treasure trails item (like trimmed armour), it's not in your inventory.
