yonman14
I think it looks good. I'm still getting the hang of the whole brushing technique thing. Any suggestions on the burshing or the text?

PHR34 ST0F Pl0Z!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11!!leven!!!twelve!!!!!11!!!!!tewentytwo!!!!!!!!111 umm... no. I like that your trying out new stuff, but i realy think your starting to get pulled back into the whole grunge/ filter stuff. I like the idea of the text, but try a more brushed piece, or a 3d one. (your one you did with the C4D is still your best IMO) Keep it up though, i know your still quite new to this. Just try and push your self to not be like the rest :)
yonman14
He's being sarcastic, I know him through the tip.it chat. Anyway, The only filter I used on this one was a Gaussian Blur to smooth out the brushing, I'm still having a little difficulty making a good looking render, which effects make good looking render? Hmm.. its hard to realy explain it, usualy "most" renders are just that, kind of random. Only thing i can think of is you want it to have a good focus point always, something that draws attention. and lol ok, Sorry there Grim.
yonman14
Hmmm, I'll try something later. One more question, what's the best technique for making those sparkly star things that people add to their abstract art?

One more question, what's the best technique for making those sparkly star things that people add to their abstract art? Hmm... mind giving me an example? I'm guessing its a brush, but i'm sure you could figure out some way to do so, would be better if I saw what your talkinga bout.
yonman14
http://ew2.lysator.liu.se/pic/art/k/o/k ... lagrav.jpg This is the best example I could find, not a good one though. Also, Nadril, do you have MSN/AIM/Yahoo!? I'd be interested in talking to you over one of them, only if you don't mind.

I wouldn't recomend using it though....
