craven_range
Hey guys :) i havnt had much time to play since summoning came out, and i am still deciding wether to lvl it My Question is how long can a summoned creature be out. I am aware that there is a points style thing where the summoning points run out, i think i read somewehre its like 3 minutes. What happens when the time runs out? some people have said you can renew them to keep your creature with you longer, how do you renew them without going to the obleisk thing? And is this infinite? sorry for the noob question edit: the more i think about this the more confused i get from KB "Renew Familiar When your familiar's remaining time runs low, you can click this button to take the time back up to the maximum. This will not use another pouch, but will cost you the same number of Summoning points as it cost to summon your familiar originally. The exact number will be displayed if you hold your mouse over this button." Does this mean i can keep renewing it until my summoning points reach zero? Does each familiar take more/less points to renew depending on its level? How do i get more points?
Legosimx
Its ok, this is a bit confusing at the start. There is a 1 minute time limit I believe for normal summoning creatures. Every time you summon a familiar, at least as far as I know, it uses 1 summon point. They dont go down like pray does. At the end of the timer, you can pay 1 summon point to restart the timer and keep ur familiar alive, or else it dies. When you are out of summoning points, you have to go recharge at an obelisk, like an alter. Also, some familiars when asked to wil give you stat bonuses. For example the darthfoul or whatever gives you +1 to your famring lvl when asked.
Malhavok
A summoned creature is out for 3 mins then gone. But, you have to option to recharge the creature to 3 mins for the same cost as it would be to summon it. Different creatures have different summoning costs. For my level 21 it costs 2 pts to summon Granite Crab and 2 pts each to to recharge it to 3 mins. That means I can Summon it initially for 3 mins then recharger it 9 more times for a total of about 30 mins. Then I will be left with 1 Summoning and have to recharge at a Summoning Obelisk. Geaux Tigers ! Congrats on a great year !
